Kylian Mbappe not to renew PSG contract when it ends in 2024

French star Kylian Mbappe has told Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain he will leave the club when his contract expires next year, a source close to the negotiations said. Mbappe will not trigger a one-year extension option which opens the door for the 24-year-old's likely exit during the summer's transfer window, L'Equipe reported. Mbappe was in a similar situation last year when he was linked to a Real Madrid move, only to sign a contract extension with PSG.
