Cash crunch forces Dutee Chand to sell car to fund training

India's fastest woman athlete Dutee Chand is selling her luxury sedan to meet her training expenses for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Speaking to TOI, Dutee said she exhausted the money set aside for Olympic training during the lockdown. Dutee, who spent a lot of money to help the needy during the lockdown, rued lack of sponsors. I need Rs 25 lakh, so I am selling my car, she said.
